More About Lisa

Many of the clients I work with have experienced some measure of trauma or grief, which shows itself as anxiety, depression, or chronic pain. Other clients I work with need support in changes they have made or in changes they want to make in order to live a more genuine, authentic life. I believe healing and fulfillment come when working with the whole person - mind, body and spirit.

I have two master's degrees, one in school psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and one in clinical mental health counseling from Viterbo University with an emphasis in integrative health and wellness. I have an educational specialist degree in school psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire as well.

Currently, I offer virtual therapy sessions only with teens and adults. I continue to love working with children and adolescents, though this is difficult to do on a virtual platform. Please visit the Services page to learn more about the therapies I provide.

Words matter. Sometimes I see a quote that hits right in the soul. Do any of these resonate with you?

"The only way out...is through."

"Accept it, change it, or leave it."

"What you are afraid to do is a clear indication of the next thing you need to do." Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the consequences of my own actions."

"I release all of my fears, pain, and hurt from the past. I allow myself to change, grow, and step into the light. I am strong. I am worthy. I am powerful beyond measure."

"When you learn the lesson, the lesson will stop showing up."

"Someone I loved once gave me a box of darkness. It took me years to understand that this, too, was a gift." Mary Oliver

"Though you may hold your sword in a shaky hand, I see the demons you are slaying. Carry on, warrior, you are stronger than you realize."
